Apparently he has one. A face he reserves for the times he's producing a mushy little number 2. Euuurgh. He makes a little 'O' with his lips, gets a look of extreme concentration on his face... and BAM. Onto cuter things, some photos of the little monster:
The "Oh no, it's Aunty Momo" face
spacespacespace I took a few photos of the little guy this morning, but they're sitting on my camera at home. Will upload those tonight, but thought you'd like this photo we snapped of George last night - it's the face he used when we were chatting to his Aunty Momo in Auckland, NZ. It's a face a lot of us use when chatting to Aunty Momo...

A few films developed
I'm still relearning to shoot film using a manual camera, but I'm getting a bit better at it. I really do need to get back into developing my own negatives and doing my own scanning - but we'll see how much time I have when Cracker arrives. Anyway - here are a couple of film shots of Bella that made me laugh (I got the roll back today):
Isabella
Spacespacespace Spent a lovely afternoon in Discovery Bay yesterday with Sue, Steve, Phoebe and Hermione - and their new addition to the family, Isabella. Check out the cuteness that exudes from her 4 month old self. She's still a fairly excitable pup, and jumps around like she's got springs for legs. Absolutely gorgeous:

merry christmas!
Merry Christmas everyone! We're at the tail end of Christmas day and it's time to kick back and do... nothing. The Challis clan invaded and we survived (it was a close one). We had a great day of food, fun and friends, and the little ones loved their presents (well, Arabella was all about the food). I took a few photos, so here they are - naturally, mostly kiddie focused (I love the last one - Arabella was so excited by the morning's events, the loss of a shoe didn't bother her in the least). It's our last Christmas as a four member family (me, Rachel, cats x 2) and next year we'll be entertaining an almost-one year old. Eeeek.
cracker's room - work in progress
As you can see, there's the cot, changing table, bassinet and Rachel's feeding chair thingy. The alphabet stops and starts on a new line partly because an unnamed person (not me) didn't leave enough space to finish the alphabet on the same line (!) and partly because we intend to put a large dresser in the spot that Rachel is sitting in (I'll probably get her to move before we put it there...)
